Parade to be held in honor of Bradford's state title

KENOSHA, Wis. (Monday, June 10, 2024) – After a tremendous season, the Bradford girls’ softball team won the WIAA Division I state championship title. The èapp School èapp and the City of Kenosha invite the community to celebrate this momentous victory with a hometown parade on Wednesday, June 12, at 5 p.m.

“This incredible achievement is a testament to Bradford’s hard work and dedication,” said KUSD Superintendent Dr. Jeff Weiss. “Let’s come together to cheer on the Red Devils and show our support and appreciation for these outstanding athletes and their coaches.”

“This is a momentous occasion for Bradford High School and our community as a whole,” said Mayor David F. Bogdala. “This event will bring us together as we cheer on our champions and demonstrate the strength of our community spirit.”

The parade route will follow the typical homecoming parade route outlined below. This event will utilize a rolling closure format, meaning intersections will be closed and reopened as the parade passes. Individuals with questions about the parade route should call Bradford High School at 262-359-6200.

  • Start at Fireside Restaurant and Lounge, 2801 30th Ave.
  • Head south to 29th St.
  • Turn west on 29th St.
  • Turn south on 39th Ave. to Bradford parking lot.
